Howie is one of those hard to find family geldings that is suitable for green riders.

Big, Calm, Willing, in your pocket gelding with loads of personality.

Howie is a very friendly and gentle horse. He would make an excellent "husband's horse", 4-H, Rodeo Royalty Mount, Rope horse prospect, Ranch gelding, or all around prospect.

Howie has a long sweeping stride at the long trot and moves out nicely. He has a nice slow jog, ground covering long trot, and a ground covering canter.

He ties, loads/hauls, clips, bathes easily, and is hobble broke.

Will stand loose to be fly sprayed.

Good with feet, easy to trim/shoe. Easy going nature, willing to please.

Trail ridden alone and with other horses, started tracking buffalo and cattle.

Had been used to pony colts. You can open gates off of him.

Sidepasses, turns on the haunches and forehand. Rides Bareback you can slide off of his rump. Has had a rope swung off of him and has pulled a calf tracker.

Packs a flag.

Safe for the grandkids to ride in an arena as he is a "push" type horse.

Knows how to "count" and shake his head yes and no.

Trail ridden and is content to be in the middle or back of the group.
